Job summary

Answers In Genesis Group in Williamstown, KY is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to fix and maintain machines, equipment, and office appliances across indoor and outdoor spaces. Qualifications

• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.

• Able to work independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead in a variety of settings.
• Must be able to work under pressure and around people at times.
• Work well with others, often with a partner, and finish jobs timely.
• Able to lift 80-lbs or more and bend, twist, stoop, push, pull and stand for extended periods.
• Able to climb ladders, and work in awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
• Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
• Carry out all duties necessary in resolving reactionary activities and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure proper use of tools in the workshop for cutting, bending and welding.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning and good condition.
• Assist others in building, construction and maintenance tasks.
• Repair ceilings, floors and walls as needed and finish seams.
• Inspect and service equipment like refrigerators and air conditioners.
