Prefix-Corporation is seeking a Facilities Tech to perform upkeep and repairs across the building and grounds. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, minor HVAC tasks, painting, and repairing doors, walls and restroom fixtures.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and readiness for client visits. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing, with good attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment.
• Replace filters and perform minor HVAC and system maintenance.
• Patch and paint interior walls as needed; repair/maintain doors and windows.
• Install floor tiles and build interior walls per code.
• Repair/restroom fixtures (toilets, urinals, dispensers, lights).
• DUST and clean, remove trash, sweep floors, and power wash as needed.
• Grounds maintenance including snow removal and litter/debris cleanup.

Position Summary;The Facilities Tech handles as much work as possible in-house, keeping both the building and the grounds in solid shape. This role takes care of repairs, upkeep, and day-to-day issues without using outside contractors whenever possible. From the roof to the parking lot, the job is to keep the place safe, clean, and running the way it should. Bottom line: see it, fix it, and keep the property ready for visits from current and potential clients.Duties and Responsibilities:General Maintenance:Complete routine and preventative maintenance on all building equipment as assigned.Replace filters and perform minor maintenance HVAC, air compressors and systems.Patch and paint interior walls as needed.Maintain and repair doors and windows.Install floor tiles.Build interior walls according to code as needed.Repair/replace all restroom fixtures. ( toilets, urinals, soap and paper dispensers, lights, stall dividers )General Cleaning:Dust walls, doors, and surfaces.Remove trash and recyclables.Sweep and clean floors.Power wash spray booth floor grates.Grounds Maintenance:Remove snow, litter, and debris from sidewalks and parking areas as needed.Empty and clean ash cans and outdoor waste containers.Tools and Equipment Used:Must own a basic set of tools in accordance with the Prefix check list.Forklifts (for material movement and access).Floor polishers and buffers.Man lifts (for high-access cleaning and maintenance).Pressure washers.General cleaning tools and supplies (brooms, mops, vacuumsA high school diploma of G.E.D. equivalent is required. At least 1 year of experience working within a manufacturing operation is required. Must have the ability to take direction, have a strong attention to detail and take pride in their work.
