Job summary

The Riverside Transit Agency is recruiting for a full-time Maintenance position in the Maintenance Department. The role may involve assignments at either Riverside or Hemet locations and requires availability 7 days per week, including holidays and all shifts.

Essential duties include preventive and remedial maintenance of shop equipment, structural framing, door and ceiling work, fence repairs, HVAC maintenance, and landscape upkeep.

Qualifications

• Four years experience in facilities maintenance required.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Desirable: carpenter, plumber or HVAC technician.
• Repair background with HVAC systems, hydraulic lift systems, camera systems and extensive electrical circuit installation.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and remedial maintenance of shop and bus servicing equipment.
• Layout and construct structural framing, including walls, roofs, and stairs.
• Install and repair door jams, doors, ceilings, drywall and partitions.
• Repair fence posts and chain link fences.
• Maintain HVAC systems and related controls; landscape and groundskeeping as assigned.
