Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. The role covers installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and plant systems.

You will document maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance while supporting uptime across operations. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years in industrial maintenance, and ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of the location will be considered.
Preferred: metals fabrication.
Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with waste water treatment.
Ability to modify or program PLCs and HMIs.

Responsibilities

Install equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
Maintain and secure tools and work areas.
Communicate equipment/plant status as required.
Maintain and follow safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.
Operate lifts and other equipment.
Collaborate with Operations to maximize uptime on equipment.
Share knowledge and train coworkers.
Other duties as assigned.
