Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Charities Southern California is seeking an Operations Associate, Facilities (Maintenance Technician) to maintain the Los Angeles houses. You will perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance on buildings, fixtures, mechanical equipment, and utilities, working 24/7 with the facilities team to ensure safe, comfortable guest stays.

Required: High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of building and mechanical maintenance experience; strong communication and customer

Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required.
• Must have strong customer service skills and a solution-focused attitude.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus. Microsoft Outlook proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment, ensuring daily work lists are completed.
• Replace broken windows, repair doors, locks, install blinds and valances, basic plumbing, and maintenance of washers, dryers, dishwashers, and interior rooms.
• Install minor electrical wiring and perform electrical repairs; service refrigeration equipment and control circuits.
