Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facilities in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include installing utility services, maintaining molding and printing support equipment, and operating lifts, forklifts, and cranes.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to Amcor Life Saving Rules, and the ability to work independently or with others while keeping equipment in safe, orderly condition.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent diploma.
• Trade School, Technical, Electrical, Mechanical certificate or degree is a plus.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Able to accept responsibility for work performed.
• Capability to carry out duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Install water, air and natural gas service for production equipment.
• Maintain molding and printing machine support equipment, air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, chillers, process water pumps and pneumatic handling system.
• Operate man lifts and work overhead at heights up to 70 ft. Operate fork truck and overhead crane as needed.
• Maintain and follow all safety, environmental and health requirements, including Amcor Life Saving Rules.
• Maintain equipment to keep it in proper and safe operating order and keep a clean work environment.
• Perform other tasks as required.
