Job summary

Yuma Elementary School District ONE is seeking a Maintenance - General worker to support facility upkeep and safety. The role includes assisting skilled trades, maintaining HVAC systems, and performing carpentry, painting, glazing, welding, and related tasks.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, MMR/Hepatitis B records, and IVP Fingerprint Clearance. The position is benefitted, with 261 workdays per year and 8 hours daily.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists journey level maintenance workers with projects.
• Builds various items for modifying facilities.
• Coordinates with supervisor and other trades.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Repairs metal surfaces and building system components.
• Responds to emergency situations after hours.
• Transports tools and materials to job site.
• Participates in meetings and trainings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
