Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance worker to ensure the grounds, facility and equipment are kept safe, clean, and compliant with current standards in a healthcare setting.

You will follow maintenance schedules, report incidents promptly, coordinate daily services with nursing staff, perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, and maintain resident privacy at all times.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Other related duties may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc.
