Job summary

SPIROL International Corporation in Killingly, CT is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain our headquarters facilities, grounds and equipment. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting and routine upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations.

This role requires a high school diploma, the ability to lift 60 lbs, bend, stoop, climb and work without supervision. You will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying issues and implementing cost-saving

• Ability to lift 60 lbs, bend, stoop, climb and reach.
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Policing the grounds and maintaining flower beds and shrubs, watering as needed.
• Perform carpentry, floor repair, plumbing repairs and minor electrical repairs.
• Paint both interior and exterior of the building.
• Identify issues and contribute to cost-saving continuous improvement.

We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our CT team.

This role is responsible for maintaining the facilities, grounds and equipment for our world-class head quarters in Killingly. This would include:

• Policing the grounds, shoveling/sanding walks as necessary, and maintaining flower beds and shrubs including watering
• Perform carpentry, floor repair, plumbing repairs and minor electrical repairs (Plumbing experience preferred)
• Paint both interior and exterior of building
• Promote continuous improvement by taking the initiative to identify issues and provide solutions with the goal of reducing cost and improving performance

Our requirements for the role include:

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, bend stoop, climb and reach
• Ability to work without supervision
