Job summary

Town of Braintree’s Facilities Department seeks a Facilities Laborer to support building and grounds maintenance across town facilities. The role includes routine cleaning, minor repairs, and basic setup of furniture and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School graduation with six months of varied maintenance experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s license; Class B preferred; good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and repetitive manual labor related to maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Operates boilers and heating systems; maintains steam pressure.
• Replaces light bulbs and performs minor repairs.
• Cleans and maintains sidewalks, lawns, and shrubbery; assists in construction and remodeling work.
