Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Range: $26.50 - $28.50/hr

We’re hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help keep our Florida facilities running smoothly. You’ll perform hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections to ensure everything stays compliant, functional, and optimized for daily operations. What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs
  • Complete carpentry work such as drywall repair, patching, painting, and light construction
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized service needs
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, work orders, and inventory
  • Support sanitation, safety inspections, and facility readiness for regulatory audits
  • Travel regularly to multiple facilities across Florida as assigned
  • Ensure full compliance with Florida regulations, safety standards, and internal SOPs

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, repair, or building operations
  • Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple trades
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and facility compliance requirements
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and safely lift 50+ pounds
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials to work in a licensed Florida medical cannabis facility
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance

A Few Things You’ll Need

  • Must meet all applicable Florida state requirements to work in a licensed medical cannabis facility
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at varying heights (ladders, rooftops, elevated equipment)
  • Ability to travel regularly across Florida to multiple facility sites
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varied conditions
  • Use of PPE may be required in certain facility areas
