Facilities Technician

Job Description:

Candidates must be U.S. citizens without dual citizenship.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing support throughout the facility and within all areas of production.

Responsibilities

1. Troubleshooting, maintenance, moving, and repair of machinery and shop equipment, including CNC lathes, mills, grinders, presses, curing ovens, coating equipment, automatic welders, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Also includes general building and grounds maintenance, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, reporting issues to management, evaluating and prioritizing repair requests, assisting with preventative maintenance, and supporting other facility areas.
2. Conducting basic to moderately complex data collection, reporting, and providing feedback to supervision. Performing inspections and making recommendations for work area modifications.
3. Maintaining a clean work environment, keeping records as required, and assisting in other facility areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Perform all duties with safety as the priority, following all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and policies. Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for company-related driving.
• Experience with electronic circuit diagrams, logic diagrams, and I/O interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, blueprints, and specifications for machinery and facility maintenance.
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and be on-call for emergencies.
• Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. person; dual citizenship may disqualify.
• Prior facilities or maintenance experience is preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The role involves indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, including walking, standing, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. May require use of personal protective equipment and working around variable noise levels. Some travel between locations may be necessary, including air travel. Varying shifts and hours are expected to ensure operational success.
