Job summary

All Things Commercial, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Pearland, TX to perform multi-trade maintenance for Restaurant/Retail facilities. The role requires hands-on work across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and flooring with accurate documentation of work and materials.

You will respond to emergency repairs, travel to regional sites, and coordinate with managers, while maintaining safety and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in commercial maintenance or construction.
• Experience in hands-on mechanical settings and ability to troubleshoot.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documenting work with photos.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair across multiple trades for Restaurant/Retail facilities.
• Respond to scheduled and emergency repairs, including after-hours and weekends.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair water heaters, faucets, drains, outlets, switches, doors, lighting, and flooring.
• Travel to regional facilities and manage materials on company vehicle.
• Provide before/after photos with detailed descriptions and materials used.
• Ensure safety and maintain clean work areas.
• Communicate with Account Managers and Coordinators throughout the day.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Pearland, TX**Hiring Immediately**The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of duties across various trades including plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, cleaning, painting, flooring, carpentry, concrete repair, and other related work. This individual must be able to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Restaurant/Retail facilities and equipment. Technicians must be responsible, trustworthy, and personable towards clients and teammates with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Role and ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and repair of Restaurant/Retail facilities and equipment.Perform scheduled and unscheduled (emergency) repairs: Response is required for emergency service requests after hours and on weekends.Receive electronic work orders and verbal instructions from the manager.Install, troubleshoot, and repair items such as: water heaters, faucets, drains, outlets, switches, toilets and urinals, partitions, doors, locks, lighting, shelving, sheetrock, cove base, tile, resinous flooring systems, and more.Service every trade except HVAC and roofing.Travel to regional facilities and maintain stock of materials, tools, and equipment on company vehicle.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas and service vehicle.Communicate closely with Account Managers and Coordinators throughout the day.Provide before and after photos of all work performed along with detailed written descriptions of everything done and materials used.Perform assessments on work orders that need to be quoted and provide complete and detailed written descriptions of all work that needs to be done including required materials.Arrive on time with a presentable and professional appearance.Some out-of-town travel may be requested periodically for larger projects.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Skills and QualificationsMust have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in commercial maintenance or construction.Proven experience in a hands-on/mechanical setting.Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot. Experience preferred: Painting, Sheetrock repair, and plumbing in a Restaurant/Retail setting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct terminology.Outstanding organizational abilities.Must be able to work independently, take ownership and responsibility for all work done with attention to detail.Must be familiar with a wide variety of hand/power tools and be able to adapt to the use of new tools quickly.Must have reliable transportation to/from work.Must be available to work a demanding schedule including long hours, occasional overnight work, and rotating weekends on-call.Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.Must have a reliable smartphone and be proficient with the usage of various applications.High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent.Position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.About UsAll Things Commercial, LLC is a self-performing facility maintenance company in Southeast Texas.
