Role and Responsibilities

Seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain our building and grounds, ensuring safety and functionality. Responsibilities include:

1. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
2. Conduct inspections to identify issues early.
3. Handle minor repairs and construction tasks.
4. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
5. Keep accurate maintenance records.
6. Follow safety protocols and building codes.
7. Participate in safety training.
8. Coordinate with external service providers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial maintenance or facilities operations.
• Knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
• Understanding of safety practices and building codes.
• Experience with CMMS or digital work order platforms.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications or training in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication skills.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, weather conditions.
• Access to confined spaces, rooftops, mechanical areas.
• Occasional after-hours or emergency work.
• Use of PPE as required.
