SkyWater Technology, Inc. in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to support a semiconductor fabrication facility.

The role features two shift patterns: a day schedule (Sun–Tue one week, Sun–Wed the next) from 6:00 to 6:15, or a D-shift (Thu–Sat one week, Wed–Sat the next) from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am with a 25% shift differential. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical systems, read schematics, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, and

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of plant/facilities maintenance or related experience.
• 3+ years of military experience in a related field.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment; read schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building support systems.
• Maintain RO, DI, and chilled water systems.
• Maintain environmental control systems, AHU, roof units, and boilers.
• Assist with project planning and task execution.
• Document facilities procedures and propose improvements.
• Lift and move equipment and comply with safety and cleanroom requirements.

Primary Objective: We are hiring a facility maintenance technician for our Kissimmee, FL Fab.

A Shift: Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week from 6:00 am to 6:15 pm.

OR

D-shift: Thursday through Saturday in one week, and Wednesday through Saturday in the other week from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am. Includes a 25% shift differential.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, including critical building support systems such as:
• Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
• Environmental Control Systems:
• Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units.
• Hot Water Boilers.
• Acid Waste Neutralization Systems.
• Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems.
• Exhaust Systems:
• Fume Scrubbers.
• General Exhaust Fans.
• Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution.
• Document Facilities Procedures & make Improvements to Procedures as needed.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One or more of the following:
• 3 or more years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
• 3 or more years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Highly motivated individual who can achieve positive results in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and environmental conditions.
• Able to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

US Citizenship Required:

This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Semiconductor Facilities Maintenance Experience.
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following:
• HVAC
• Electrical (Industrial-Level)
• Building Automation
• Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems
• Bulk and Specialty Cylinder Gas Systems

Physical Demands:

• Lift and move processing equipment, applicable tools, office equipment, and some chemical drums. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Variety of standing, sitting & data entry.
• Wear complete fab attire for full shift.
• Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment, and work with hazardous chemicals, gasses and hot/cold outdoor environments.
