SkyWater Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to join the team on a 12-hour night shift (B Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a 10% differential.

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of critical facility systems, including RO/DI water, HVAC, boilers, acid waste, chemical and gas distribution, exhaust and air systems.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
• 4+ years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Ability to obtain a minimum of a 2C boilers license within 1 ½ years.
• Able to work and solve problems independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical building systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
• Maintain Environmental Control Systems including Make-up Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units and Boilers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment; read schematics and one-line drawings.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution; document Facilities Procedures and improve procedures as needed.

Plant Maintenance Technician Senior

Primary Objective: We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Technician Senior to join the team in Bloomington, MN.

Shift: B Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM- 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, to include critical building support systems such as:
  • Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
  • Environmental Control Systems:
    • Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units.
    • Hot Water and Low-Pressure Steam Boilers.
  • Acid Waste Neutralization Systems.
  • Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems.
  • Exhaust Systems:
    • Fume Scrubbers.
    • General Exhaust Fans.
  • Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution.
• Document Facilities Procedures & make Improvements to Procedures as needed.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One or more of the following:
  • AA/AS Degree or greater in Related Field.
  • 4 or more years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
  • 4 or more years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Highly motivated individual who can achieve positive results in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to obtain a minimum of a 2C boilers license within 1 ½ years.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and environmental conditions.
• Able to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Semiconductor Facilities Maintenance Experience.
• 8 or more years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or Related Field.
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following:
  • HVAC
  • Electrical (Industrial-Level)
  • Building Automation
  • Boilers (Class C)
  • Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems
  • Bulk and Specialty Cylinder Gas Systems
  • AutoCAD Software

Physical Demands:

• Lift and move processing equipment, applicable tools, office equipment, and some chemical drums. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 3-4 days/week.
• Variety of standing, sitting & data entry.
• Wear complete fab attire for full shift.
• Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment, and work with; hazardous chemicals, gasses and hot/cold outdoor environments.
