Job summary

SJE in Hoover, Alabama is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to maintain our facility, grounds and machines, and to support production improvements. This on-site role reports to the Maintenance Team and emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and professional operation.

Responsibilities include preventive and unscheduled maintenance, coordinating with outside contractors, and continuously improving maintenance programs and planning processes to keep the facility running efficiently.

• Assure facilities and grounds are maintained in a safe, professional looking and effective manner.
• Coordinate quotes, ROI and work with outside contractors as required.
• Continually improve the maintenance programs, processes and planning/tracking methods used.
• Be responsible for carrying out preventive and unscheduled maintenance of equipment and buildings.

The job:
