Job summary

SJE, based in Hoover, Alabama, is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Technician for our on-site Hoover office. This role focuses on routine upkeep of facilities, grounds, and machines, while supporting production continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work within the SJE Revere brand to ensure a safe, clean, and professional facility environment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and implementing maintenance improvements to optimize operations.

The job:

As our Facilities & Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for basic maintenance around our facility. You will be responsible for the planned upkeep of buildings, grounds and machines while maintaining an optimally clean, safe and professional condition. You will be responsible for providing Maintenance Team support for Production continuous improvement initiatives.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:

• Assure facilities and grounds are maintained in a safe, professional looking and effective manner.
• Coordinate quotes, ROI and work with outside contractors as required.
• Continually improve the maintenance programs, processes and planning/tracking methods used.
• Be responsible for carrying out preventive and unscheduled maintenance of equipment and buildings.
