FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SALARY RANGE: $38,646.40 - $59,904.00
Description
Greenville Utilities Commission is searching for an experienced facilities maintenance technician to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing the work schedule in the maintenance and repair of GUC facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, working in maintenance and repairs in the areas of: Carpentry, Masonry, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC Mechanical, Access Control, and Grounds. Candidate will assist the crew leader with coordinating and inspecting the work of outside contractors, execution of preventative maintenance schedules, maintaining maintenance files and performing the close-out of work requests. The individual will work as technician performing duties independently while maintaining buildings, facilities, and grounds, as well as occasionally assisting with landscaping and seasonal snow and ice removal duties as required.
