Position Summary: Performs a variety of routine and semi-skilled tasks involving general maintenance of Birmingham facilities and grounds.

Duties/Responsibilities

List the essential job duties that are specific to the position.

• Replacing light bulbs and fluorescent lights
• Making simple electrical related repairs
• Power washing and exterior painting projects
• Perform routine carpentry work (example: minor paint jobs, installing interior doors, door stops, adjustable shelving, etc.)
• Routine plumbing repairs (example: repairing leaks, unplugging toilets and drains, etc.)
• Making minor ground and lot repairs and maintenance (fencing and gates)
• Maintenance and cleaning of customer areas
• Dispose of used engine fluids, filters and air cleaners using proper equipment and ppe
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education And Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience Required: 1 to 3 years

Other Years

Experience required in: Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to (1 - 3 years) construction or facility maintenance trades experience.
