Job summary

Crown Technical Systems is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to support maintenance of our warehouse facilities. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a trade school program preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in preventative maintenance or related field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills, and logical problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift from task to task as needed.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performs general repairs to include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of building facilities in a warehouse setting.

Shift

Monday - Friday; 6:00am-2:30pm

What a typical day looks like:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
• Performs general repairs to include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on building systems

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

hysical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
• Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
