Job summary

UniFirst Corporation in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to help keep our location running smoothly. You will perform basic maintenance, plant cleaning, painting, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries while following safety procedures.

This role offers on‑the‑job training, regular Monday–Friday hours with potential overtime, and company benefits including 401(k) with match, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• English literacy for procedures and instructions.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor cleaning equipment and perform plant cleaning tasks.
• Paint tasks throughout the plant and exterior facilities.
• Operate forklifts to relocate materials within the facility.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist with production receiving activities.
• Perform facilities upkeep such as landscaping and snow removal.
• Conduct light equipment maintenance and routine inspections.
• Follow training to operate company vehicles when certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
