Job summary

EFOR is seeking a Technical Writer for Facilities & Maintenance to join our Albany, NY team. You will develop, revise, and standardize GMP-controlled documentation supporting manufacturing operations and facility maintenance activities.

You will partner with Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, Utilities, Operations, and Quality teams to translate complex technical information into clear, compliant documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and job aids.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a related field.
3+ years of technical writing or GMP documentation experience in regulated environments.
Experience supporting Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, Utilities, Reliability, or Manufacturing Operations.
Working knowledge of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

Develop, revise, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, maintenance procedures, technical procedures, job aids, and training materials.
Collaborate with Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, Utilities, Operations, and Quality SMEs to capture requirements.
Translate technical information into clear, accurate, user-friendly controlled documentation.
Support documentation for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, facility systems, and equipment operation.
