Job summary

VASA Fitness is opening a brand-new club in Oak Forest, IL, and is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the facility safe, functional, and welcoming for members. You will undergo training in a new market, learn CMMS workflows, and collaborate with club leadership to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience and are comfortable with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred, but training may be provided.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience with CMMS/work order systems and basic project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on club equipment and building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain cardio, strength, and general workout equipment.
• Document work completed, parts used, and repairs in the CMMS system.
• Maintain general facility upkeep including painting and carpentry as needed.
