Job summary

VASA Fitness is opening a brand-new club and is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep the facility safe, functional, and welcoming. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and daily upkeep across equipment and building systems, with hands-on problem solving and teamwork with club leadership.

You’ll train in October and travel to another market for initial training, then help launch your new location. Compensation includes hourly pay and benefits, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience with CMMS/work order systems and basic project tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on club equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Maintain cardio, strength, and general workout equipment in safe condition.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Document work in the CMMS with parts used and repairs.
• Conduct club walks and raise safety concerns with leadership.
• Handle general facility upkeep including painting and carpentry.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, District Manager, vendors, and contractors.
