Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep clubs safe, functional, and welcoming. You will handle hands-on maintenance across equipment, facilities, and systems, with CMMS-tracked work orders requiring timely updates.

The role includes on‑the‑job training with certifications potential (OSHA, CPO), a path for career growth, and a benefits package including gym memberships and 401(k) options. Training for a new club opens soon with travel to an established club for learning.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred, but training available
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Experience or comfort with CMMS / maintenance management software and work orders
• Basic computer skills to access repair guides and track work orders
• Valid driver’s license; ability to occasionally use personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
• Clear communication with leadership; reliable, self-motivated, team player

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on club equipment and building systems
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime
• Maintain cardio, strength, and general workout equipment in safe working condition
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
• Document work completed, parts used, and repairs in the CMMS system
• Assist with general facility upkeep including painting, patching, carpentry, and groundskeeping
• Collaborate with General Manager, District Manager, vendors, and contractors as needed
