Job summary

P1 Service, LLC. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facility Maintenance Operations team in Kansas City, MO.

This role requires hands-on maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and building systems to ensure reliable operations during events and daily activities. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, operate Building Management Systems (including Metasys), and collaborate with front and back-of-house teams to uphold safety and energy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience required, or equivalent education.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (Class E if Missouri).
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Fire and life safety experience.
• Understanding of airflow/waterflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have or be able to obtain backflow certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of industry safety trends and organizational policies through ongoing education.
• Sole point of contact for maintenance during performances.
• Responds quickly and efficiently to requests and embraces collaborative communication between front and back of house with minimal interruption to services.
• Fire and life safety system preventative maintenance, electric fire protection, VESDA sensors, Hydronic Suppression.
• Enters accurate and timely data into the CMMS systems, responds to work order requests and submits accurate notes and information.
• Works with respect and compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements.
