Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Team. You will maintain systems that provide uninterrupted services and critical utilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and productive environment for Wolfspeed personnel.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC fundamentals, and the use of SCADA/CMMS. A valid driver's license is required; the position is full-time and located at our Marcy, NY

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience in lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics or troubleshooting.
Use of computerized building management system / SCADA to maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment.
Must be able to work safely, use all personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and job requirements.

Responsibilities

Respond and troubleshoot alarms including temperature, humidity, air/water pressures, and water levels.
Starting/Stopping/Maintaining equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and generators.
Solve complex problems with little supervision and decide how/when a project is completed.
Monitor and maintain plantwide systems and know how to resolve issues.
Routine use of computers and software including Microsoft Office, SCADA, and CMMS.
Implement and sustain standard organizational practices and adhere to 5S practices.
