You will perform comprehensive maintenance of essential systems to ensure uninterrupted services, safety, and a productive work environment for Wolfspeed employees. The role requires at least 5 years in industrial maintenance, proficiency with SCADA/CMMS, and knowledge of HVAC, electricity, lubrication, and piping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency using CMMS/SCADA to monitor and troubleshoot facility equipment.
• Must follow OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot utilities to keep production running.
• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, fans and generators.
• Diagnose and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Monitor plantwide systems and ensure 5S housekeeping practices.

Gist

Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Team. This position requires you to perform all aspects of maintenance of the systems that provide uninterrupted services and critical utilities as needed to maintain life safety and production. To ensure that the facilities are maintained and conditioned as needed to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and enable Wolfspeed team members to be productive while performing their job functions.

Day-to-Day

• Respond and troubleshoot various types of alarms including, Temperature, humidity, air/water pressures, and water levels etc.
• Starting/Stopping/Maintaining equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and generators.
• You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed Monitor and maintain plantwide systems.
• Understand when an issue is occurring, knowing how to resolve it.
• Routine use of computers and software to include Microsoft Office suite of products, SCADA, and CMMS Implement and sustain standard organizational practices and adhere to 5S practices.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Valid Driver's license required
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance related experience
• Experience in lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics or troubleshooting
• Use of computerized building management system / SCADA to maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment.
• Must be able to work safely, use all personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and job requirements

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range: $25.60 - $35.20
