Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician at our Durham, NC site to operate and maintain systems that provide uninterrupted services and critical utilities, enabling a safe, clean, and productive environment for the workforce.

The role requires 12-hour shift work to provide 24x7 coverage for the production facility, including night shifts, and may involve duties during adverse weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is required, and experience with SCADA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment malfunctions in facility systems.
• Experience with building management systems or SCADA to maintain equipment.
• Able to document clearly using manuals, diagrams, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor preventive maintenance and operate HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Use control systems/SCADA to monitor equipment, review trends, respond to alarms.
• Start/stop equipment and support installation, startup, commissioning and sustaining operations.
