Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Facilities III (Maintenance III) at the DC for hands-on maintenance of buildings, conveyor systems, and facility equipment. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective work, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and coordinating with vendors.

The candidate will use a CMMS to schedule maintenance, respond to emergencies, and possibly perform basic electrical and security-system repairs. Experience with conveyors is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Excellent organization and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance and custodial principles and standards.
• Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines (may be required).
• Ability to work independently and in a team; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Conduct scheduled PM on mechanical equipment; inspect belts, fluids, filters, and bearings.
• Coordinate external contractors/vendors for installations and maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and HAZMAT documentation; use CMMS for scheduling.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and safety incidents.
• Assist with renovations like drywall repairs and painting; basic electrical work.
