Job summary

VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa in Colorado Springs is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician. This role focuses on completing repair and maintenance tasks to ensure well-maintained facilities and equipment for members and guests. Ideal candidates have experience with exercise equipment, can lift heavy objects, and have at least 4 years in a repair technician role.

The position potentially includes evening and weekend hours, with competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Experience with exercise equipment and pools required.
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools and cleaning chemicals.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair and maintenance projects and responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Assist the Facilities Director in maintaining operational facilities and equipment.

Skills

Experience with exercise equipment

Knowledge of safe tool and chemical use

Ability to lift 100 pounds

Ability to work with minimal supervision

4+ years as handyman or repair technician

Ability to follow instructions

Education

High school diploma or GED

Trade school or apprenticeship (preferred)

CPO certificate (preferred)
