Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the Chicagoland area non-acute clinics. The role is full-time, 1st shift, with on-call requirements and daily site-to-site travel. You will perform complex maintenance on mechanical and medical equipment, document work in CMMS, and ensure code compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 4+ years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel and on-call duties are required as part of this position.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills such as CMMS, building automation system, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance per codes and standards, documents via CMMS.
• Troubleshoots mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.) with minimal guidance.
• Maintains patient care equipment such as beds and wheelchairs.
• Maintains HVAC, refrigerators, ice machines, kitchen equipment, piping, electrical and plumbing systems.
