Job summary

Stark Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support daily upkeep, respond to work orders, and assist with event setups at our Cleveland/Akron area properties. You will help keep common areas safe, clean, and functional while aiding the maintenance team with ongoing tasks.

The role demands a hands-on, reliable individual able to lift, climb, and operate basic tools; weekend or holiday availability is often required to cover shifts and tenant needs.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in facilities or maintenance operations.
• Entry-level experience in maintenance, repair, or construction-related work.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
• Clear communication and follow-through.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and at heights.
• Able to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. Ability to bend, kneel, sweep, and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to common area and tenant work orders.
• Complete light painting and general repair tasks across the property.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and work areas.
• Assist with the installation and upkeep of site signage.
• Remain alert to safety or maintenance concerns and report issues as needed.
• Safely operate tools and equipment including pressure washers, scissors lifts, bucket lifts, and forklifts (as trained).
• Use basic hand and power tools effectively for maintenance needs.
• Participate in the setup and breakdown of on-site special events.
• Support with tasks that promote safety, cleanliness, and event success.
• Monitor the site for safety or security concerns and report to supervisors as necessary.
• Demonstrate the company’s core values consistently.
• Complete all additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or company.
