Job summary

ACCESS - Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services in Dearborn, MI seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance on buildings and grounds under direct supervision. This role supports ACCESS facilities and programs by ensuring safe, clean spaces and coordinating capital resources as needed.

Hours are up to 28 per week (part‑time). A high school diploma or GED and a valid Michigan driver license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Experience with basic trades and building/grounds upkeep.
• Valid Michigan Driver License and dependable transportation.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Open facility daily following documented procedures and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Setups/tear-downs for events; maintain clean and safe areas.
• Operate standard office equipment and required software.
• Perform other facilities tasks and partner with teams as needed.
