Job summary

Valley Hope of Moundridge is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician I to join our dedicated and passionate team. This role supports the maintenance of our residential treatment facility, ensuring safe and reliable building systems and patient spaces.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of and some experience in maintenance skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification; or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain building, plant and equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs of building/plant equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on building/plant equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Performs remodeling/maintenance of patient rooms, office space and common areas as directed.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Maintains and repairs facility grounds including yard maintenance and snow removal.
