Job summary

Valley Hope of Moundridge is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated team at our residential treatment facility. You will install, maintain and repair building, plant and equipment, read work orders, and perform plumbing, carpentry and room remodeling as directed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, maintenance experience, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of and some experience in maintenance skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• CPR certification; or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain building, plant and equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled trouble shooting and repairs of building/plant equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on building/plant equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Performs remodeling/maintenance of patient rooms, office space and common areas as directed.
• Maintains records of electrical equipment including dates of purchase, manufacturer, purchase price, preventative maintenance required, repairs needed and safety incidents on all electrical equipment at facility.
