Job summary

Creekside Post Acute in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and well-maintained. You will perform routine tasks across painting, plumbing, groundskeeping, and preventive maintenance while supporting residents and staff with a responsive, can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate works well independently and in a team, learns new skills quickly, and applies attention to detail to every job.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to resident care needs.
• Basic knowledge of preventive building maintenance, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety of our facility.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet residents' needs and willingness to learn new skills.
