Job summary

Creekside Post Acute in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the Maintenance Department and direct its programs, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires at least three years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or plant setting, knowledge of boilers, electrical/plumbing systems, and the ability to read blueprints; competitive salary and full benefits offered, including Daily Pay, PTO, tuition reimbursement and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or plant-related position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities.
• Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
• Assist maintenance staff in developing and using departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.
• Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department.
