Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the campus environment for students, faculty and staff. The role includes HVAC, plumbing and electrical work, remodeling, and network cabling to keep the facility safe, functional, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in related trades required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Provides plumbing and electrical repairs and installation.
• Assists in remodeling and equipment repairs for various departments.
• Provides computer and phone network cabling and installation.
• Responds to fire alarms during work hours and after hours emergencies if required.
• Assists in snow and ice removal.
• This is an on-site position at our campus in Evansville, IN.
