Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep the campus safe and comfortable. The role focuses on HVAC maintenance and repairs, plus plumbing and electrical work, remodeling, and network cabling.

This in-person position requires at least three years of related trade experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently or in a team. The job is based at the Evansville, IN campus with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in related trade.
• Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Performs plumbing and electrical repairs and installations.
• Assists in remodels and various department projects.
• Provides computer and phone network cabling and installation.
• Responds to fire alarms during work hours.
• Assists in snow and ice removal.
• Available for after hours emergencies if required.
