Job summary

Spectrum Human Services & Affiliate Companies is seeking a Maintenance Worker in Highland Park, MI to perform facility maintenance and repairs in a secure setting. You will service plumbing and heating fixtures and systems, and participate in special events setup and breakdown, painting, and floor care.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, valid Michigan driver’s license with good driving record, and ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment health screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Satisfactory background checks including state CPS clearance and criminal history.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license with safe driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and health exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair facility plumbing and heating fixtures and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service at SJJS facilities.
• Assist with events setup/breakdown and minor maintenance like painting and floor care.
• Maintain mechanical equipment and locking systems.
