Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the LEGOLAND California park’s operations. You will maintain, repair, and install diverse equipment, with emphasis on golf cart maintenance, safety, and preventative care to ensure a fun guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and flexibility for evenings/weekends; ASE certification is preferred. You will collaborate across teams and log work in INFOR EAM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• Experience as a mechanic with focus on golf cart maintenance preferred.
• ASE certification preferred; strong safety focus and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and emergency repairs on vehicles and fleet carts.
• Identify, report, and document maintenance issues and repair needs.
• Operate basic machine tools and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Log preventive maintenance activities in the INFOR EAM system.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and coordinate with vendors.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and attend trainings to stay current.
