Job summary

Holy Family Institute in Pittsburgh is seeking a Maintenance Associate to handle general maintenance and repairs across our campuses. You will process work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and support event setup, collaborating with the Maintenance Department and program staff.

Must have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances, a valid PA driver’s license, and the ability to travel between HFI locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Trade School Certificate preferred.
• Experience with repairs and general maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Must have Act 33/34 and FBI clearances and valid PA driver’s license.
• Must have ability to drive between HFI locations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Mission and Philosophy of Holy Family Institute.
• Maintains Holy Family Institute campus by performing general maintenance and repairs.
• Performs daily repairs and service as directed through the online maintenance system and supervisor.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance inspections.
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists in setting up and breaking down for large group events and trainings.
• Maintains neat, orderly work areas and stock for maintenance.
• Participates in staff meetings and provides feedback on tasks.
• Makes suggestions to increase effectiveness and works with the Maintenance Department and program staff.
• Completes required agency and regulatory trainings within the expected time frame.
