Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Madison, WI. You will inspect and test equipment, plan repairs, and perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and building grounds to keep facilities running smoothly.

Must have 2-5 years of related experience, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Proficiency with MS Office is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This role requires day shift, Monday–Friday.

• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred

Responsibilities

• Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery to ensure everything is up to standard
• Plan and schedule maintenance repairs
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels)
• Perform routine maintenance around building
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
