Job summary

GDI is seeking a dependable facilities maintenance professional to join our Madison, WI team. You will inspect equipment, plan repairs, and perform routine and preventive maintenance across building systems, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This role requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; we value integrity and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years related experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Plan and schedule maintenance repairs
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels)
• Perform routine maintenance around building
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
