Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform a range of general maintenance tasks in our facilities, including installation of partitions, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and preventive maintenance on equipment. You will install doors, fixtures, and bulletin boards, inspect systems, and respond to customer needs with strong communication.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of commercial/industrial maintenance experience, carpentry and plumbing skills, and the ability to perform diverse repair

Qualifications

• Three to five years of general maintenance experience in a commercial/industrial facility.
• Ability to perform carpentry tasks.
• Capable of plumbing repairs and maintaining facility equipment.
• Familiar with surface prep and painting drywall, wood, and metal surfaces.
• Strong communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install office partitions and furniture.
• Install a variety of flooring materials.
• Repair furniture.
• Patch and paint walls.
• Install and maintain door closers, locksets and passage sets.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Install bulletin boards and writing boards.
• Emergency Generator Inspection and Test.
• Air Compressor Inspection and Test.
• Sprinkler Piping Systems Inspection and Test.
• Snow Removal.
• Roof Inspections.
• Plumbing Repair and Maintenance.
• General Mechanical Repair and Maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
