Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Consumer Health Logistics Center operations in Groveport, Ohio. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and assist automation troubleshooting with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires strong problem-solving, hands-on maintenance skills, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Safety-first approach to operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance practices (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generator systems, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment and systems, utilizing diagnostic tools to replace parts and resolve malfunctions.
• Participate in facility improvement projects.
• Operate a forklift and other Material Handling Equipment to transport maintenance parts and equipment.
• Complete inventories of the spare parts storehouse and facility supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist Automation Technician with real-time troubleshooting and repair of automation and conveyance technology issues as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
