Job summary

Wyoming Army National Guard at the Douglas Armory is seeking a part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep the facility and grounds clean, safe, and presentable year-round.

The role involves custodial duties, operating cleaning equipment, maintaining safety checks, managing supplies, and coordinating repairs through work orders. A High School Diploma is required, with potential for after-hours readiness during inclement weather. This essential position may offer prorated benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 months of progressive work experience in Building and Grounds.
• 1–2 years of progressive work experience can substitute education.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, gym, and offices.
• Operate and maintain custodial and grounds equipment such as scrubbers and lawnmowers.
• Inspect emergency lighting and fire extinguishers for proper operation.
• Maintain custodial supplies inventory and MSDS records.
• Submit work orders for facility deficiencies to the Supervisor.
• Seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing and snow removal.
