Job summary

Bell Ambulance, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support 24/7 emergency service across Milwaukee and neighboring counties.

The role maintains stations, grounds, and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a high-demand environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in facility maintenance, with basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills, and the ability to operate MaintainX CMMS for work orders and asset management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or Associate degree in technical trades preferred.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, building trades, or related technical service.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in general trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, basic structural systems). Must be able to use CMMS software (MaintainX).
• Certifications & Licensure: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record; trade license (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) or technical certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance & Repairs: perform daily maintenance, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance for building systems.
• CMMS & Work Order Management: use MaintainX for work orders, asset management, and vendor coordination.
• Fire, Life Safety & Compliance: ensure OSHA standards and station safety; conduct regular inspections.
• Groundskeeping & Exterior Upkeep: seasonal landscaping, snow removal, and gate/generator checks.
• Equipment, Fleet & Trailer Management: manage tools, shop spaces, and service vehicles.
